This service focuses on the visuals that accompany your talk or lecture. I will review them, either independently or in conjunction with your delivery, to assess the degree to which they support or detract from the effectiveness of your presentation and make clear recommendations for revision.

Slides are a ubiquitous part of 21st century public speaking, but very few people think enough about the impact their slides have on their audience’s ability to pay attention and absorb information. A cohesive talk integrates message, presentation and visuals. Successful slides should support but not overshadow what you are saying. In this third facet of speech, I will review your slides (or other visual or audio-visual accompaniment), either independently of or in conjunction with your talk to provide feedback on their effectiveness.

What You’ll Get:

• Detailed feedback on your slides and suggestions for improvement including aspects such as number, composition, template, content, colors, pace, etc.

• Explanations of the ways in which these aspects affect your talk and a detailed and concrete plan for revising them.

This service is often booked concurrently with performance coaching, since your slides are a sort of backdrop for your talk, and thus a part of the performance. It can however be booked independently or as a part of an ongoing coaching process, if you’d simply like to build your skill in creating compelling visuals.

This service is booked by the hour at a rate of $80/hour.
